i remembered when I was 10, it was after recess in school. The discipline teacher made us lined up in the hot sun and told us to clean up the canteen. Some kids didn't keep the canteen clean and we all were punished to do the cleaning job. Pick up the rubbish and stuff. After school, I told my parents about it and the next thing was Dad already wrote a letter of complain addressed to the school to warn them not to make me clean the canteen and stand in the sun.
When I was 11, it was Maths class. The teacher told us to wrote the multiplications in the book. From multiply 1 to 12. I already knew all the multiplications by heart so Mom told me not to do it. I insisted of doing it since the teacher said she'll punish those who don't do it. Mom said Dad will go to school and meet the teacher and told me not to worry. So the next day, me with unfinished work came to school and I got punished and cried. Dad was late. He came right after I had my punishment. Dad talked to the teacher about it and of course he was unhappy that I got punished. The teacher actually apologized.
So in my primary school days, the teachers didn't really like me. I always had to bear their sarcasm where they said " ha siapa bapak dia yang suka complain tu ? " . Well I just shut up. I am pretty used to that. I even got called from the discipline teacher in the office because they were tired of the complaints. A week after that, Mom transfered me to TOK SERA KUANTAN. There, I was fine. Everything was good.
In high school, it happened too. I was 16 or 17 I think. It was EST subject and I forgot to bring my book. So I was caned on my palm and it left a mark. My palm was read. Mom saw and she was mad. Dad sent an LETTER to the Principal about the matter. The teacher who caned me was called by the Principal the next day. Of course she didn't pay any attention on me in class after that. I am somehow untouchable. Even my parents never caned me or my siblings. That just didn't work for us. So it was a wrong move for the teacher.
As for other things, I kind of get what I want. Not everything but almost. I know their intention is to give the best for me. And I am trying hard to make it all worth it for them after everything. I ain't a spoiled brat . I am just supposed have what I should. I am beyond thankful.
